All at CMEC extend their congratulations to the new Prime Minister of Great Britain, Sir Keir Starmer KC MP. We wish him and his ministerial team the very best in furthering the UK national interest, both at home and abroad, and congratulate all new MPs on winning their seats.
We also extend our commiserations to all those MPs who lost their seats. The price of democracy can sometimes seem high, but it is a prize we must never take for granted or allow to be undermined.
The Conservative Middle East Council has served Conservative Parliamentarians and others in forging understanding of the MENA region, and nurturing UK-MENA relationships, in the UK national interest, for more than forty years. So at The Conservative Middle East Council, we especially congratulate returning and new Conservative MPs.
