Britain and Iran - beyond the JCPOA

CMEC talks to Dr Sanam Vakil, Deputy-Director of the MENA Programme at Chatham House and Bob Seely MP, of the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Select Committee.

Here in the UK, the government’s priority remains to prevent Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapons capability, to promote stability and security in the region, secure the release of our dual- nationals, and to keep the diplomatic door open for discussions across the full range of UK interests. So, what can the West do now to fix its troubled relationship with Iran and how best to proceed in the interests of peace in the region and further afield?
