The Foreign Secretary recently delivered the 2016 CMEC Annual Policy Lecture.
During the Lecture, Mr Hammond presented an absorbing survey of current issues in the Middle East. He detailed his thoughts on the Isil Daesh threat, discussed UK foreign policy objectives and praised the powerful relationships between Britain and its regional allies. The event was attended by a packed audience of Ministers, MPs, Peers and the entire Arab diplomatic corps in London. It gives us great pleasure to publish the transcript of the lecture here.
