THIRD AID DIALOGUE BETWEEN THE UK AND SAUDI ARABIA

The United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia have concluded their third Strategic Dialogue on International Development and Humanitarian Assistance, reaffirming a shared commitment to tackling global humanitarian challenges. Held in London on 1–2 December 2025, the Dialogue resulted in new joint initiatives designed to strengthen food security, improve access to clean water and sanitation, and expand life-saving support for vulnerable communities.

Among the newly announced programmes are a major food-assistance effort reaching over 400,000 people in Yemen, as well as expanded WASH and nutritional support for more than one million Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. Both governments also endorsed a new Memorandum of Understanding between British International Investment (BII) and Saudi Eksab to enhance technical cooperation and co-investment.
