British Ambassador to Lebanon, Hamish Cowell, officially launched the British Lebanese Chamber of Commerce (BLCC) last Tuesday, January 27, marking a significant milestone in the strengthening of bilateral economic relations. This pioneering initiative opens a new chapter for trade, investment, and business collaboration between the United Kingdom and Lebanon.
The launch was attended by Minister of Economy and Trade Amer Bisat, alongside senior diplomats and prominent Lebanese business leaders, reflecting strong public and private sector support for the Chamber’s mission. In his remarks, Ambassador Cowell emphasized the Chamber’s role in supporting Lebanese entrepreneurs and British companies seeking to expand their footprint in both markets.
