The UK Minister for the Middle East and North Africa, Hamish Falconer, and His Excellency Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, signed a Memorandum of Understanding on Tuesday, 28 October 2025.
The MoU marks a significant step in the growing partnership between the two countries, committing both nations to deepen bilateral cooperation on conflict-affected countries. The agreement also establishes a framework for exchanging knowledge and capabilities and strengthening the international conflict resolution system.
Minister Falconer praised Qatar's growing leadership in global mediation and its role in promoting peace and stability regionally and globally.
